Team Setup

A truly social game

Choose your side. SketchParty TV™ is a team game, and up to 16 players (8 per team) can join in on the fun. It's pass-and-play, so you only need one device.

Finger or stylus

SketchParty TV is designed for your finger, but it plays great with a stylus. Like the Apple Pencil for pressure-sensitive drawing. Better drawings: better guesses.

Draw on your iPad or iPhone… see it on your TV!

How to play Pictionary-like game on TV

SketchParty TV is a drawing game for two teams of up to eight players each. It plays a bit like Pictionary®. One person draws a word on the shared iPhone or iPad; everyone else watches the strokes show up on the TV and shouts guesses.

Default settings give each player five words and two minutes per turn. Every player gets two turns. With six people in the room, a full game runs about 30 minutes.

You only need one device. Pass it around when the next drawer is up. Guests don't install anything, and you don't need a separate phone controller for each person.

Recently updated

Version 5.4 adds voice recognition. SketchParty TV can advance when it hears the current word or phrase. Recognition runs on-device, so nothing is recorded or sent. English only, and it works best with smaller groups.

5.4.3 (June 21, 2026) fixes a crash that could hit when a round ended. The Options screen and Past Games list got a cleanup in the same 5.4 line.

One App Store purchase covers the iPhone/iPad app and the Apple TV app. Search for SketchParty TV on the Apple TV App Store, or grab it from Purchased.
